Mr. Sheldon Cao holds a B.S. and M.S. in Medicinal Chemistry from Peking University, and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Konstanz, Germany.

Throughout his career, he has held senior roles across leading global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, including Postdoctoral Fellow at Gilead Sciences, Senior Scientist in Drug Discovery at Amgen, Associate Director of Drug Discovery at LG Life Sciences, and Project Leader (Principal Scientist) at Takeda Pharmaceuticals. He also served as Head of Drug Discovery Project Management at Cerep (Shanghai), CEO of Zhaohua Biotech, and Founder and General Manager of Youbo Biotech.

Dr. Cao has over 30 years’ experience in innovative drug R&D and organizational management. He has led the development of multiple drugs that have successfully reached the market.
